Samantha was born in Long Beach, California. From a very young age Samantha fell in love with the legendary R&B Voices of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Samantha is also a dual citizen of Brazil and has also been heavily influenced by the voices of many Brazilian artists as well. These role models started her passion for the arts and music.
Samantha didn’t catch the theatre bug until high school. At Hesperia High School she could not turn down the chance to play the Horse in Cannibal The Musical! This production received many honors at theatre festivals in Southern California. This production also led to many others that would ultimately guide her to her love for theatre.
Samantha Moved to the Los Angeles area in 2005 to attend California State University, Fullerton and later transferred to California State University, San Bernardino. However, Samantha left college with more then just a B.F.A in Musical Theatre. She also met her husband, Justin, the best thing she got out of College.
Following college Samantha and Justin set out on an adventure for the ages. They traveled on some of the most beautiful cruise ships to over 80 countries performing their cabaret shows.
Upon returning to land Samantha worked on various new productions in California including a musical version of the movie, Burlesque, where she was able to recreate Christina Aguilera’s starring role. Samantha also had the opportunity to work with many regional theatres including La Jolla Playhouse and The California Theatre.
Currently, Samantha and Justin reside in Union City, New Jersey, 4.5 miles from Time Square, but with more space and cheaper rent. Now on the east coast she is continuing her work in the theatre and on screen. Samantha can be seen nearly every Monday night in Diva at Industry Bar where she gets to pay homage to the great women who started her journey many years ago in Long Beach, California.
